They Changed Laws, Built Clinics Across Continents, and Brought Families Home. Now They’re Being Honored Together.

On April 24, 2026, Time for Change Foundation will honor seven leaders and organizations whose work has changed laws, crossed borders, and transformed lives at its 24th Annual Awards Gala, Anchored in Promise, Powered by Purpose, in Ontario, California.

One honoree helped rewrite California corporate law so women could finally hold seats at the table. Another has spent four weeks every year building healthcare infrastructure in Nigeria and Honduras because he believed people an ocean away deserved the same care as patients in his own clinic. A nonprofit born from tragedy is now on the front lines of ending domestic violence by offering emergency counseling, safe haven, and a path forward for survivors rebuilding their lives.

The foundation’s 24th Annual Awards Gala, Anchored in Promise, Powered by Purpose, takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Ontario, California. The evening honors leaders whose work spans boardrooms, courtrooms, operating rooms, and living rooms, all united by a single throughline: the belief that every person deserves a stable foundation from which to build a life.

That belief is also the story of Time for Change Foundation itself. Since its founding, TFCF has helped more than 5,300 women, children, and men achieve self-sufficiency, reunified 332 children with their mothers from foster care, and currently houses 250 families annually. The gala is both a celebration and a continuation of that work.

“These seven leaders have dedicated their lives to building what others said couldn’t be built and serving who others overlooked. That spirit is exactly what this evening is about. We are honored to celebrate them and the communities they’ve transformed,” said Dr. Vanessa Perez Trang, Executive Director of Time for Change Foundation.

This year’s honorees represent a breadth of impact that is rare to find on a single stage:

  • Marci Coffey — Ramos Family Spirit of Compassion Award
  • Dr. Jason Lohr — Nancy Varner Angel Award
  • Rick Baker — Humanitarian Award
  • Bobbi Kristina Serenity House — Beacon of Hope Award
  • Damon and Felicia Alexander — Dynamic Duo Award
  • Julie Castro Abrams — Women’s Global Impact Award

The gala begins at 6:00 PM. Formal attire is requested. Individual tickets are $200, with sponsorship packages available from $5,000 to $25,000.
