SAN BERNARDINO, CA — March 18, 2026 — They will tell you it starts with faith. Then family. Then everything else falls into its rightful place. For Damon and Felicia Alexander, that “everything else” has meant three decades of service, leadership across boardrooms and city councils, and a quiet but relentless commitment to making the Inland Empire stronger for the people who call it home.
Time for Change Foundation recognized that legacy immediately. “Damon and Felicia Alexander are a testament to what happens when two people align their gifts, their faith, and their energy toward something bigger than themselves,” said Dr. Vanessa Perez Trang, Executive Director of Time for Change Foundation. “Decade after decade, they have shown up for this community in ways that are too numerous to count and too important to overlook. We are deeply honored to celebrate them.”
On Friday, April 24, 2026, the foundation will present them with the Dynamic Duo Award at its 24th Annual Awards Gala, Anchored in Promise, Powered by Purpose.
Felicia Alexander has spent more than 30 years building expertise in global supply chain, logistics, and international operations as Senior Director at Northrop Grumman. Outside the office, she has brought that same energy to the San Bernardino City Unified School District as a Board Trustee, to the Inland Empire Community Foundation as a Board member, and to a long list of organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, the Assistance League of San Bernardino, The Links Incorporated, Social Lites, Inc., and the American Legion Auxiliary — serving in leadership roles across nearly all of them.
Damon Alexander’s path ran through the U.S. Marine Corps and three decades as a Federal Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice before leading him to the San Bernardino City Council, where he served from 2020 to 2024 with a focus on housing, business development, and economic revitalization. As Founding President of 100 Black Men of the Inland Empire, Past 25th District Commander for the American Legion, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., President-Elect of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra, and a board member of Lutheran Social Services of Southern California, Damon has never stopped finding new ways to serve.
Together, the Alexanders have built something that neither could have built alone. They founded the San Bernardino Turkey Trot 5K/10K, the Heroes on the Green Charitable Golf Tournament supporting STEAM scholars, and the Alexander Family Foundation — a vehicle for uplifting the nonprofits and youth programs quietly shaping the next generation of Inland Empire leaders. Guided by the principle of God first, family second, and everything else in its rightful place, their partnership is both the foundation and the proof of everything they’ve built.
